Our swimming heroes continue their story today in the second episode of Free! Why does Haruka use only the Freestyle stroke? Why did Rin grow shark teeth and become the douche that he is now? Will Nagisa and Gou become an item or will the Makoto x Shovel pairing outdo them? Here's the thing..
..Episode 2 did not answer all of those questions at all so it's still okay to think of conspiracy theories.
*SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 2 AHEAD! WOOOO!*
So three of our hawt main guys start the Iwatobi Swim Club as of this episode. Of course, they didn't breeze through the process that fast (well I guess having it in one ep is fast, but it took them days). If it was that easy, then, I dunno. Less plot, more fan service?
Kidding aside, there were still lots of fan service Haruka is a blatant offender, as usual but I find the first episode more.. 'oomphey', if there's such a word. Gou takes part in this episode a lot and it seems like she's the representation of all the Free fangirls out there who likes them shapely triceps and muscles oooh.
I got to witness Haruka's obsession with water-filled containers as he stripped inside a hardware store and eyed the water-filled aquarium. My goodness, you're such a crazy wa"tard". Oh well, the fangirls (including me, but he's not my fave) love him anyway. At least we know that we can bribe him with a pool.
The best scene evarrrr for me was that
*SPOILER END*
All in all, it was a fun ep. Some mysterious plot lines suddenly appear and make me wonder what the hell happened to these guys. Looking forward to the next one!
(my bodeh is ready for fangirling over Rei's official debut).

little cameo of Rei
when Nagisa was out recruiting one more member for the Swim Club. OMG REI AHHHHHHH~ He didn't fully come out in this episode but we'll see him in the next one!*SPOILER END*

Rei's Pajamas
I love how beautiful his room, bed and pajamas are. Anyway, I'm too lazy to really write a decent entry about yesterday's episode (If I wasn't, there should be one already written yesterday). I'll probably coax ~numbnuts01 (https://www.deviantart.com/numbnuts01) to cosplay as Rei Ryugazaki - bedhead and butterfly pajama model extraordinaire.
Competition Time!
Episode 7 After-Episode Scoop: Mostly Spoiler-Free, but contains some screencaps.. though I doubt it spoils anything central to the story.
Episode 7 was so exciting! It's competition time for our beloved Iwatobi Swim Team! But first, let me show you the best picture of today's episode: (it's funny I promise)
Anyhow, going back, today was a heated episode because it involved a whirlwind of emotions and swimming action. We get to see Rin's past and also his resolve in his rivalry with Haruka. Also, I found myself cheering for Haru as he and Rin competed in the 100m Freestyle (crawl) race. I won't tell who won; go find out for yourself.

Thank You~
I don't know how to properly thank people who fave my art and I'm sort of hesitant to leave messages in their pages, so maybe I should employ the tactic of giving llamas as a thank you for faving my art like some do.
So, starting today, I'll be giving away llamas to the kind people who fave my art. It's nice to know that there are people who like my drawings. ~rainbowtearplz (https://www.deviantart.com/rainbowtearplz) I have a tendency to clean my inbox so this would only apply to recent favers (I'm so sorry for the activity messages I deleted :iconimsorryplz: )
Again, thank you for your support! :iconsymmetricalplz:
Let me check that dubious-looking refrige-Rei-tor
Note: If you haven't watched Episode 6, turn back now as this journal is full of spoilers.
First of all, it was a relief that everything turned out all right. Free! made up for the scare it gave me last episode, though I'm a bit disappointed on how they presented Mako's backstory (maybe I should go read High Speed! now). I was expecting it to be a bit scarier and more traumatic, but I also think that it's good that he was not subject to worse conditions.
It's also funny that the two biggest guys in the team are also the two biggest scaredy-cats. Rei getting freaked out and Mako's grim face was hilarious. As almost all summer activities, a

The good thing is...
The amount of fanservice for BL fans aka fujoshi and fudanshi seems to be decreasing in this eps, idk for the next episode but it's good enough for me not to drop it xDDD
I'm enjoying watching them abs anyway And Matsuoka Gou is a life saver for me xDD
